Castle Rock Pastor: Buying Girl Scout Cookies Promotes ‘Lesbianism, Abortion’
When you think of Girl Scouts, you likely think about buying their cookies. But one Castle Rock pastor says when he thinks of the Girl Scouts Organization, he thinks about the word “wicked.”
As first reported by our sister station KFOR this week, Kevin Swanson, a preacher at the Reformation Church OPC in Castle Rock, begged listeners of his online podcast “Generations Radio” to stay away from the cookies.
“Please, I beg of you, do not buy Girl Scout cookies,” Swanson told radio listeners.
Say no to children with cookies? That seems to be the message Swanson was conveying, even going so far as to bring his feelings about homosexuality into his call for action.
“I mean, I don’t want to support lesbianism. I don’t want to support Planned Parenthood and I don’t want to support abortion,” said Swanson. “And if that be the case, I’m not buying Girl Scout cookies. I don’t want to promote a wicked organization.”
